ABOUT HRBP FOUNDER KAREN GUREGHIAN
HR Business Partners is a strategic HR consulting firm owned and operated by Karen Gureghian, a seasoned HR management professional with over 20 years of experience working for public and private organizations in the Twin Cities. As a trusted business partner, Karen collaborates directly with company owners and presidents to provide implementation services in critical HR areas like policy documentation, recruiting, benefits, and HR infrastructure.
A respected HR leader, Karen is a member of SHRM and has served in various leadership roles for the SHRM Minnesota State Council and HR Professionals of Minnesota, including terms as Secretary, Membership Director, President, and Professional Development Co-Chair. In addition to her work at HR Business Partners, Karen holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Metropolitan State University, where she teaches HR courses. Certified as a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHRi), Karen brings a wealth of practical expertise to her consulting and teaching roles.
